Shendoah looked up again. "Didnt expect you back so soon" she said and continued to mix the remedies.

"Its not my decision. There must be a way to get everything so taht u dont have to sneak around or hide anymore" shendoah said as she crushed some rosemary.

Ohanzee snorted "Not without gold, and there aint no way I'm cashing my head in." she held up an intricately made string bird for admiration before undoing it and starting again.

"There has to be a way" She lit a burner on the stove and put a small pot of water on it.

"If you're so clever, why not suggest some?" asked Ohanzee placidly, making a string horse with wings barely unfurled this time, looking almost solid enough to stand up and walk away. She sighed softly and pocketed the creation before looking around to find something else to do.

Ohanzee laughed softly, picking up the basket she meandered her way around the garden, selecting the ripest tomatoes and blinking at the carrots. She had never seen anything like that before, what part did you eat? the leaves? she wondered and took a chance, pulling up the whole lot.

Ohanzee gaped at her back, wash? what's wash? she wondered but tried to figure out how to turn on the taps after dumping the vegetables in the sink.

Shendoah looked over and tried not to laugh. She walked up to the sink, "here" she said trying not to sound condescending. She turned on the tap and showed her how to rinse the vegetables.
