Shendoah woke up with a start. "well that was a weird dream" she muttered to no one.

Ohanzee hissed in disgust, "Troopers." she snarled "How did they find me?" She swiftly gathered up her few belongings, the odd valuable that is still to 'hot' to sell and slipped out a liddle side hole. No self-respecting theif has one entrance to their den.

Shendoah wandered into the kitchen to check out the contents of her cupboard.

Ohanzee sighed softly and rapped on the kitchen window "This is -not- a good idea..." she muttered to herself "Hey, open up will you?" she hissed through the glass, tapping it again

Shendoah opened the window. "Back so soon?"

Ohanzee slipped through the window as easily as a water drop slides out a glass. "Not exactly my idea. You're blasted calling spell thingo made my den a beacon for every Trooper for miles around." She sighed and ran a hand through her tangled hair "And every single one of them decended on my den in the past half-hour."

"I didn't nick -all- of it and you could well afford the expense." Ohanzee sighed softly and added "Besides, you got the blasted glitter back but I'm out of a home. Are you happy now?"

"well its not my fault ur choice of lifestyle was to live off the misfortune of others" shendoah replied un-pitying.

"Oh sure," snarled Ohanzee "People just -love- to welcome dark-elf halfbreeds into their houses, their businesses. Being Dark-Elf is bad enough lady, but no, I have to be a Chaos-creature as well don't I?" She paused, glancing out the window cautiously before lowering her voice slightly "Who would accept such a mix of ...disreputable creatures into their life?"

"Oh yeah, that's great. Real nice of you lady." snapped Ohanzee, a faint prickling of her neck warning her that they had company "But that doesn't help me -now- does it? I'm still a thief and the Troopers are still after their 5000 gold head." She pointed out waspishly before ducking out of sight just as a knock sounded on the front door.

Shendoah's dog raced to the front door barking. Shendoah went slowly to the door to give the girl time to hide. She wasnt worried about the girl lifting anymore of her stuff she knew she wouldnt risk it again. When she got to the door she opened it.

Two Troopers were standing outside the door. "Afternoon ma'm, a rather untrustworthy character was seen entering your house, mind if we take a look around?" said one, waving a piece of official looking paper.

Shendoah blocked the doorway as she took the piece of paper from the trooper. She read it slowly and carefully and could see the troopers getting restless. Finally she handed it back to them and said "well this seems to be in order but you wont find anything out of order here" she said hope-ing against hope that the girl had found the secret tunnel in the backroom that would hide her where noone would find her.
